Hello

I have Octavia 1 with a retractable cup holder in the middle console .. as in the pic.

It was broken and I managed to repair it. Now it works but when I press on it, it opens back and it doesnt stay in the close position. I believe an inner part is missing. If someone could help with a clear photo for the missing part, will be much appreciated guys

As far as I can remember. In order to stay open, it'll need the small little curled spring in order to spring it open. I've seen that you've replied to another post. So you may already know this. I'll try to see if I had nay photos of when I started to fix these a couples years back.

This is the part that opens and closes the holder, as the grooves determine if it opens or closes with each press. Most of the time it is this part that breaks.

Actually the spring is OK in my cupholder, what is missing is that part that goes along the spring parts in order to close or open the holder. Please see the attched pic for clarification, the part in the red circle.

If you could send me its picture, i can fix mine.
