Well.. I got my Fabia vRS, 2 days ago after waiting for two weeks. Well, im in absolute love with the car. Its a brand new 2006 model and absolutely no dreaded stutter thank god.

One question i was wondering was, when i lock the doors is the alarm automatically activated. Or/ How do i activate it?

Would it go off if a window was broken? or is the standard alarm not great?

Btw, i have done a search but nothing came up for the questions im asking.

It has an alarm, it comes on (with deadlocks) when you lock the car (either with the remote or by the key) and the LED in the door will start flashing.

It should sound if someone breaks a window and enter the car. The ultra sonic sensor should set it off.

I have an 2001 octavia. Quick questions

1. do all come with a standard alarm.

2. sometimes when i lock the doors, the LED light does not blink while other times it does. Is there a specific method that is used to activate it.:confused:

I didn't think any of the Octy Mk1's came with an alarm as standard? :confused:
