Buzzing fuel temperature sender and failing to start

Featured Replies

Hello!

I've been struggling with some weird behaviour that happens occasionally. Haven't noticed any possible triggers to this. It may run smoothly for several weeks and then have issues multiple times per day and then run smoothly again for some time.

Sometimes the car just won't start (sometimes even if it was running 5 minutes ago). Sometimes it just stalls while on the go. Recently I noticed that fuel temperature sender is buzzing (can be felt when touching it) when this happens. Errors that come up are P0193 and P2565 and are impossible to clear via OBD2 app.

What helps in this situation is twisting the sender until it stops buzzing.

Connectors allegedly have been cleaned and checked in the service.

Could it be faulty temperature sender or could the problem lie somewhere else?
