I've just purchased a Fabia vRS estate and I'm thinking about changing the wheels.

Don't know exactly what I'm after at this point but is there a place that will px? Take mine for a bit of a saving?

Or perhaps ebay etc is the best option.

My Fabia currently has 17" wheels.

Had 205/40 17 Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres fitted all round today but I'm not into the wheels.

They're black, look nice but I'd like a bit of gunmetal, or a bit of an accent.

There's just  too much black going on, would like to offset that with a nice set of silver/gunmetal wheels.

Briskoda for sales is a good place to advertise your Black Gigaro alloys.  It can be a good place to buy wheels / tyres and other stuff from people that know about Skoda's.    You can advertise for a SWAP even.  PS.  Your wheels can be powder coated or painted for not much expense.   Having that done before the tyres were fitted would have been sensible but too late now. But the powder coat places can take them off and refit.  Some placed even lend wheels / tyres while the do your wheels.

Hi, yes I have done this backwards, to be sure.

I wasn't considering new wheels until I got these new tyres.

@DutyPaid  Are your wheels still original with a silver edge, or even painted and still with the edge and not all black?

 

Some had the Dark Chrome Gigaro that got 'White Spider' corrosion painted or powder coated to black, 

like these.

They are already repainted then and not as original. 

Maybe even by me as i did something like 6 sets, and so did others. 

I used to sell them at £100 each.   Some were bought to be used as spares because me or others would split sets. 

 

Painted.

I did refinishing in White, Silver or Black to any originals and some just with all one colour and no alloy edge.

Also various greys if anyone wanted.

 

These are just Dark Chrome Gigaro done all in Black i think for winter use.

Not that these don't, I'm just looking for some that aren't black.

I purchased this car four days ago and these are what I got.

Use Google images or just a search Briskoda Fabia Mk2 vRS wheels     loads of pictures or threads.

 

Audi wheels are nice on a Fabia hatch or estate.  You could have had 18" rims if you wanted style over practicality.. 

Pity you bought the 205/40 R 17 tyres you could have gone 215/40 R 17's on 17" rims. 

 

Lots of nice 17" rims about that will suit your estate.

Wouldn't like 18 inch rims, to be honest.

This size seems bang on, I just want something that looks a little nicer.

These Michelins are superb.

I bought the car a few days ago and have been feeling my way into the motor.

With these tyres it is so much fun.

Had a 70 mile trip today and was gobsmacked.

First time I've give it the beans.

Grinning like the Cheshire cat!!
