WD-40 Error

Featured Replies

Like an idiot, I sprayed WD-40 Specialist Grease on the tracks of my car's windows, instead of the Silicone spray.

So will the rubber in the tracks be damaged?

[Google says grease degrades rubber.]

Thanks.

Try mixing some fairy liquid with hot water & use a tooth brush to scrub the window channels.

Tip - Use the wife’s toothbrush……..you don’t want to mess yours up!  😎

@OccySportThanks. Sounds like a plan. I pinged the WD-40 people & they said the stuff probably won't do much harm but am going to try & remove it all & put silicone spray in its place anyway. Cheers.
