  1. Welcome aboard Hardy1812.
  2. I would definately choose the Toyota over a Skoda 👍
  3. Seen the oil filter band wrench in Lidl this evening so might pick one up tomorrow 👍
  4. Did that include painting or can you order the panels in colour?

Try mixing some fairy liquid with hot water & use a tooth brush to scrub the window channels.
  6. Bet you wish you kept it now
  7. Such a cool looking little car & its a Honda so got to be good 👍
  8. My thoughts exactly until I went somewhere local that I know has good reception & re-tuned the stations, its since been faultless.
  9. I would re-use the original bolts if they clean up ok & the threads are good. The repair manual would probably tell you that they should be renewed after removal because thats what Skoda want the technicians to do. It covers them if the new part fails & by charging ridiculous amounts for cheap bolts earns them more kerching! If an independent garage was doing the work for you, they would probably clean the bolts on a wire wheel & re-use them.
  10. Can you not get the part number from that?
  11. @Andyroo! I'm following your restoration with interest 👍
  12. Check all doors & tailgate close properly without slamming shut & look for even panel gaps & colour match. Check for leaking shock absorbers. Pay for a HPI check.
  13. Welcome 👍
  14. Correct, the car was not fit for purpose since day one of your owneship. So, if they try & make you pay for new brakes just tell them NO! They will probably try it on though because they pay Rylan Clark & he has teeth to pay for you know 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭
