Hi folks.

In my 1.3 Felicia there are a couple of speaker grills in the divider between the driver and passenger seat - just behind the recess/box area for putting stuff (fags, glasses etc) in and below the stereo. I managed to unclip this box (does it have a name?) and there are mounting holes for a pair of 13cm speakers. Problem is that the recess box is too deep to fit if speakers were mounted. Any ideas or thoughts to sort this? Does anyone make shallow boxes or is it easier to trim the original down and put a new back on it? Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated...

i dont think it was ever for speakers as these went in the front doors and/or in the rear for an estate?

The centre console is great on older models but naff on newer ones....... total load 'o' shat !!!! Stuff keeps flying out of the new version (a tray in fact) and under my feet while driving! Yes even a fag packet is a serious worry when hitting the brakes :(
