Call me stupid but is that the throttle body that sits underneath the EGR valve 🤣🤣,, if it is what’s the best thing to clean it ??? Inside  🤣🤣,, Mr muscle or proper carb cleaner,, 

I sometimes get the revs sticking at 1000 rpm so hoping a good clean could cure it

Although I don’t even know if mine has a DPF 🤣 2010 vRS,, I’m assuming it’ll be on the exhaust if it has ?? Would there be a light on dash somewhere to indicate this ?? 
what’s my best option to try and regenerate it ?? What do I need to do in all fairness never had a car with one
