Boot won't open except via key remote

Featured Replies

All of a sudden my boot handle doesn't open from the standard central locking unlock but does open when i hold the boot unlock mode.

Is this a key configuration change or as s result of a broken boot handle mechanism?

Bump - any ideas?!

If the boot handle has suddenly stopped working, then it's probably the microswitch that's failed :)

The only setting that's related is this:

So I'd check that before replacing the boot handle :)

Microswitch in handle would of failed. If you message me ive got some spare handles for sale :)

Welcome to the forum. Im in north london.

Can always post if you are too far away and just guide you through the process.

Thanks - I’m in Ireland, can you post here?  I’ve been reading other forums and have some other items I want to try before purchasing. But great to have the option
