Octavia 2013 MK3 stop/start

Featured Replies

Hi my battery has been checked and is fine 80+ % is there any other simple fixes to try or is a sealer visit. T.I.A

@Keypurr  Do you have an issue like Stop / Start is not operational when it should be able to operate?

If it does not have Stop / Start operational and it has never worked it might be because a previous owner had it disabled.

People have been asking here for years how to have it off permanently.

This is like with you DPF question in another thread.  You can not assume a used car is as it left the factory and not modified.

People have been talking about DPF removal  and coding out for years.

Maybe there is an issue and this is a clue to that.

If you don’t like stop start disconnect the cable for monitoring the battery by hand. No tools no cost. Stop start won’t work.

It sounds to me like @Keypurrwants stop/start to work and it isn't?

There are many conditions for stop/start to work not just battery state of charge, try looking on the infotainment where there is a menu explaining what conditions are not being met.
