Hi. The one thing bugging me at the moment is the state of my inner door pulls. The rubbery soft touch finish has had it and it looks awful. I’m not having much luck finding replacements from scrappies looking any better. 
 

is there a way of removing the coating and just having the hard plastic finish? What have others done?

The window switches also go white as yours have started to. Other than that the octy2 interior can take a fair bit of abuse. Not tackled any of this myself. Wonder if something could be wrapped around the handles. More to cover up the look?

Just wondering if they could be rubbed down with some fine wire wool and white spirit to remove the rubbery stuff? Might give it a go when I have the chance. 

I had this with my last car and couldn't find decent replacements. I ended up buying a roll of fake carbon wrap and spent a happy afternoon experimenting until I got it right. Vastly improved the look of the inside of the car too.

 

Be warned though if you do take this route, you'll be wrapping (or considering it) everything else too to make everything match.

I believe Lidl were selling aerosols of the rubbery soft touch paint.

So just an update. I decided to tackle them with ultra fine wire wool (0000 grade) and white spirit. First I used a sharp chisel to gentle scrape off the remaining rubbery stuff. It was disgusting. Just like the grime on a shirt collar that had never been washed! Yuck. The wire wool and spirit took a bit of rubbing but it worked. Then I used T Cut to clean it all up, followed by Autoglym Rubber And Vinyl spray. I think it looks a lot better than before. Just need to do driver side front and rear.
