Removing seat release panels from the estate trim

Featured Replies

Hey folks,

Been thinking about possibly fitting some extra lighting in the boot as it's woeful on the estate.

I don't have seat release on the side trim on my estate and was thinking of cutting them and fitting some of the light units from the boot. I was going to take power from the remove able torch.

I've had a go and I can't figure out what I'm missing to remove. I can pull the end closest to the seats out slightly and then move it towards the seats, I just can't seem to release it. What am I missing?

Thanks

The small panel is held from the backside of it, needs to be removed from the car and taken from the back.

Oh that's bloody annoying!
