Hi thinking of purchasing a petrol one would like to now the real mpg also in a diesel if they do one 

Also the sport line version in a 2 litre petrol 180bhp

Anything from high teens on short journeys with the air con blasting out on days like today, all the way up to 40mpg or so on relaxed long motorway journeys (i.e. not driving it like a loon) in the spring rain. And that's after well and truly running it in - when new, double figures were considered an achievement, especially the first few days, but that's to be expected.

 

No diesel version - the old one was diesel only, the new one is petrol only.
