Has anyone replaced the Oem halogens with Philips LED?

I thought such bulb replacements in cars are an automatic MoT failure.

Unlikely in this case; the OP states that he is in Jerusalem.

That idea got thrown out almost immediately when They realised how many vehicles have been modified already, and lower power lamps are not a bad idea.

Incorrect brightness and/or alignment will be an MOT failure of course - and that’s where poorly fitting lamps come unstuck.

(I’ve happily MOTd HID lamps on my bike many times in lieu of H7 lamps)
