hello all,what position does the armrest dial have to be in for my mirrors to fold in via the key fob?

my tailgate is not opening or closing fully when I press the key fob or when I press the button to close,I've tried the reset thing where you open the tailgate manually and press the button till you hear the beep. Still no joy

As far as I know it's any position, if any windows are open the long press on the lock button will close the windows and not fold the mirrors. Another long press after and the mirrors should fold
