I just called my local dealer about my 06 vrs which on friday started to stutter and when I told them they said that the stuttering that skoda uk are looking into is to do when the car idles and being lumpy and unless i can repeat the stutter there's no point in me taking it down.

Do a search on the site about the 06 & stutter, there are at least 3 others who have reported this.

You should get some nfo on what other are / have done.
