Evening guys sorry if this has been asked before etc ! My colombus nav stereo has died so have just purchased on eBay the Kenwood  DNX525DAB what's the easiest way to get dab ? I've read here somewhere about the Alpine Kae ‐ DAB1G6 which goes behind the c pillar and replaces the current module (if that's the right name) with the new one . If so would that module be on the same side as the window antenna on the back quarter window ? Would I even need to buy that ? My car is a 12 plate MK2 Octavia vrs estate. Thanks in advance for any help!

Swap the original antenna for one with dab built in. Then run a Fakra cable to the head unit. I have both for sale. 
 

glass mount dab antennas are garbage.
