VRS accelerator vibration

Featured Replies

I've just bought a 1 year old VRS with 3,000 miles on the clock, and have noticed there's a vibration through the accelerator pedal between approx 2100 and 2400 revs. Is this normal? I've never owned a VAG car before so don't know if this is normal! Thanks.

To be honest with you, i dont feel a vibration on my foot but cars vary. Welcome to the site!

Dual Mass Flywheel?

Good point, is the car chipped?

Mine has a very slight vibration between 2300-2400. It's very slight, but isn't quite as smooth as the rest of the range.

That sounds similar to what I'm experiencing. It's probably nothing to be concerned about, but I like to be sure about these things! My car is standard and I guess with only 3000 miles on the clock it may be down to the engine still being quite tight?
