Hi guys. Just started noticing the rattle coming from under the bonnet. As soon as I enable the Air Conditioning, the rattle stops. When I disable it, rattle begins. You can clearly hear that in the video. Has anyone got any ideas? Is it a AC compressor’s clutch? Is it a generators pulley?

Sounds similar to mine a couple of years ago. New air con compressor solved it. Price isn't too bad on Eurocarparts. 2014 Diesel VRS with 75k

i would assume the sound should come up when you enable the AC, not when disabling.  Also perhaps one could change only a pulley, not the whole assembly, because the AC is working just fine

 

It is a strange one but when there is pressure on the pulleys the noise goes, it's when it's idling (air con off) it causes the noise.
