Fuel Gauge Error

Featured Replies

Hi.. I have a problem with the fuel gauge in that whilst it works when starting up it can randomly fail to register.

Where is the sensor actually fitted.. I was told that this could be under the rear seat???   But before I start the procedure of getting extremely annoyed in removing the back seat as I have done this on my previous two Superb's for custome seate covers can anyone confirm this... or advise on why the fuel gauge is not functioning correctly.

Thanks
AP

Odds are it's under rear seat sadly.  Sensor needs to read what's inside the tank, so won't be anywhere else.
