Hi, currently 2014 (64) Octavia VRS owner, my 3rd Octavia overall. Came across this site whilst looking for tips on upgrading my infotainment system and loving the helpfulness and knowledge sharing 😊

Looks like a fine car, loving the Race Blue metallic. The immaculate Gemini alloys put mine to shame!

What improvements did you make to your vRS infotainment?

Nothing major, just replacing the factory fitted Bolero with a newer one to get a bigger screen and more importantly for me smartlink / car play. I’ve got one being fitted next week and used tips from here to work out what I needed to get / do for it to work 😊

Saw the photos over on your thread. Can’t give any advice on what you’re doing I’m afraid, as I’ve never changed any of my MIB 1 stuff. I don’t even have a USB connection, just the original MDI connection. Completely useless to me, but everything works well over Bluetooth thankfully.
