Hi, can anybody help with how I change the Skoda Connect user name that appears on the welcome and shutdown screens? I’ve updated the nickname in my Skoda Connect ID account, but the old name entered by the salesman when I purchased the car new still appears. Many thanks.

Yes. Either go back to menu/users and log in as the guest account and then go back and sign in with your username on the entertainment screen. If that doesn’t work you may have to sign out via the app/portal and then try and go back in on the infotainment screen.

I had the same with the salesman not quite putting in what I wanted.

I did change it. I can't remember exactly how but it was through the settings on the car screen. I didn't need to log out as I wouldn't have wanted to do that and it was not through any app.

Just noticed on going into the MySKODA all it has asked me to log in as something had changed (I can't remember the exact words).
