wots best!

Featured Replies

Im going to be getting a headlight replaced at the start of next week and was wondering what bulbs are best for the fabia.

Currently iv got Ultra Xenon 50% ring bulbs but imm looking for somthing with a hint of blue in them. I know there are blue ring bulbs but would be interested on what else there is i could get.

Anyone got any info cos il probly buy new bulbs on the weekend and let the skoda technician fit them at the same time, cos i think fitting bulbs in the front left headlight of the older fabias is a real c#nt!

Hi

If you want wots best, then you are lookig at Osram Silverstar or Phillips Vision Plus. Both clear, but very white (for a filament bulb) light. The blue tinted bulbs are a poor option if you want to see where you are going. The blue tint is acheived by filtering out the other parts of the spectrum from the bulb filament leaving a predominantly blue light. They range from poor to abysmal in visibility terms.

Do a serach on Osram Silverstars, you will find I did a write up with bulb before and after comparison photos for the Osrams a while back.

Either the Phillips Vision plus or Osram Silverstars in the dipped, Phillips Rallye 100w in the main
