Aftermarket parts from skoda dealership

Featured Replies

HI i have a 2017 octavia 2.0tdi used as a private hire taxi full service every 10000 miles

I have always bought genuine parts from local skoda dealership whilst under warranty and after mainly due to decent Price with taxi discount

I have noticed the prices have doubled after lockdown i decided to get aftermarket equivalent this time after discount

1 x oil filter £24

1 x fuel filter £22.40

T

That is some price for Filters.

A Taxi Discount was nice and buying parts for a Skoda with a warranty from new even if used as a private hire taxi.

What a shame that anyone buying a Skoda Approved used car with a Skoda Warranty will find the Warranty no valid if the car is used as a Private Hire Taxi.

Edit inline, bold and underscore.

Granted; they're reasonably well known and respected aftermarket brands though. Probably available from about half the independent parts factors and garages in Paisley.

The Mahle filters were manufactured only a skip and jump away from where you are, and i always used them.

Nothing special with parts with a VW/Audi logo on them. They are just whatever VW Group can procure while screwing the manufacturer down in price to supply.

That is why many blow VW Group off.
