Removal of trim panel that should be the glovebox

Recommended Posts

Hello, I have a poverty spec Fabia MK2 with no real glove box. There is only really a hole where the glovebox should be.

I need to replace the air recirculation blending flap and the blower motor resistor, but I can't seem to work out hoe to remove the "glovebox" so I can access the areas I need.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there no lower glovebox? I thought poverty spec versions only had the lower one and not the upper one as well. You would generally access fixings for the airbag from one or the other glovebox and then access the resistor from there.  I would think you may then have to go in from under the whole dash to do this job. Thats a pain but then, higher spec versions with climatronic a/c, you have to take the whole dash out to change the fan and its built in resistor.
