Central Locking does not work at all.

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a 2004 Fabia Mk1 and the central locking doesn't work at all neither the key fob or the buttons on the drivers door. The red light on the drivers door stays permanently on but I can still get into the car by unlocking the drivers door manually. Checked all fuses and there fine, any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Broken cable(s) in the door loop, most likely drivers door.

@harry_stormerWelcome.

Can we assume you have recently got the car and this is who it is,

and not that you had the car and it worked and now it has stopped working?

When you unlock with key in drivers door lock, do the other doors all unlock, or just that door?

Is there a keyhole in passenger front door? If so, see if C/L operates if you lock or unlock with key in there.

Nope only a lock on the drivers door and the rest have to be locked and unlocked separately.
