Had an engine light fault due to a open circuit 30 and also no communucation to the alarm siren, can't clear it with VCDS anymore. Need some help please

Might be worth posting an autoscan?

 

The alarm siren is a common issue (dead battery inside it) and doesn't cause the engine light to illuminate.

    Open circuit problem sounds like a blown fuse.
