OBDeleven Availability East Kilbride

Featured Replies

Is there anyone near East Kilbride (just South of Glasgow) who has OBDeleven, my front assist isn't working on my 2016 Superb and would like to know the codes and if its possible to clear them.

Cheers

Hi there,

If you take a look at the below link there is a post relating to VCDS and a map of owners. Contact the one closest to you and they may offer their services. The thing to note is, generally with a front assist radar fault. It is not a job of 'clearing codes' it is a safety system and faults need to be investigated, often the system wont clear faults without a calibration using specialist tools and a jig. Generally called ADAS radar calibration.

Yeah I understand the codes cannot be cleared. Would the OBD2 scanner show the fault codes for the front assist? I'm hoping it just needs re calibrated.

Cheers

My front assist stopped working just over a year ago and it turned out to be a broken bracket behind the the radar on the front grill. I can't understand how this happened as I hadn't hit anything and there was no sign of damage.  Also, the warning suddenly came up as I was driving along and not after I'd been parked where someone may have knocked it.  I can only think it may have been when I hit a pothole and the jarring broke it.
