Bluetooth retrofit for 2010 mk2 fabia Dance audio

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have seen many topics related to the retrofit of bluetooth to mk2 fabia.

My car history:

Skoda Fabia mk2

First registered: 02.2010

Car location: Finland

Audio system: Dance audio

The car itself is a pretty basic fabia with not steering controls. I believe it is the old 1.2 engine (51kw / 69hp), no turbo and not a tsi. It also does not have maxidot display. The only luxury (if it is one) I can mention about is "climatic" ac.

I would like to know if I can install a bluetooth adapter of some sort without affecting battery.

I am attaching couple of links here so that you guys can take a look. I believe you must have all been through these links before. I believe I can post links here

I am also not sure about the fakra/qualock. Is the wiring of every 'dance' audio the same?

I am sorry if I have posted many questions here.

I sincerely believe that I will get an answer from here. I sincerely thank you all for the time spent and support in advance.

Thank you.

What did you end up buying?

Hi nikasp,

I haven't bought anything yet. I am planning to sell the car as it is giving me severe back pain and my arm also hurts when driving long distances. I have to drive about 300kms (up-down) once a week.

I never had problems with other cars that I had owned previously; (C4 Grand Picasso, B7 Passat, V70...).
