Well, just a quick update…

 

i went along to the event and got there at 11.00

 

underwhelming doesn’t even come close.

 

There was the usual smattering of cars from casual visitors to the cafe, but in terms of Eastern Bloc cars we had:

 

Wartburg Knight saloon

 

Wartburg Knight Tourist 

 

Skoda Octavia VRS slightly modded

 

Skoda Octavia VRS (me)

 

Lada Niva - that had gone by the time I finished my sausage buttie that I treated myself to on arrival.

 

Still, it was a nice drive out…

 

 

If you ever go to Ecuador, you will see these everywhere, no matter your income status, you can always afford a Skoda!

I thought you meant the Warty!

 

I didn't see any of those when travelling in Ecuador in 2004, I would surely have taken a photo if I had.
