Green filter For RS

Featured Replies

Hi all, Im after a Green filter for my New Leon 2.0T FSI. I know a few of you have the green filter for the vRS mk2 which is the same as the Mk5 GTI and my SEAT.

Which part number is the green filter?

also, what do you think of it, has it made any difference with anything.

Cheers.

No one has a Green Filter in the vRS Octy MkII, reason I know this is that they don't make one!. I enquired about this approximately three weeks ago and as far as I know they have no plans to make one yet. The only one that I am aware is available for the 2.0 TFSI engine is K&N part no. 33-2888, which is currently in mine

ahh ok, ive found out theres a pipercross filter for the MkV GTI and vRS so that should fit mine great (Y)

Ive been told to steer clear of the K&N as its oil based which can get into the MAF and mess things up

Is the green filter not also oil based?

They all are but the K&N one is over-oiled according to some leading to MAF issues, my Mondeo TDCi Zetec S was always ok however.
