How much better are Full LED or LED high?

Featured Replies

It's a whopping £800 extra on the Light & Sight Plus Pack!

I know Fabia IV already comes with Basic LED, but I'm trying to work out whether I should fork out the additional cash to get what Skoda describes as: " optional full-LED headlights provide more light-intensive low beam and high beam, as well as cornering and adaptive light functions".

Is the Skoda version similar to the Polo IQ Matrix, because I feel it would really have to do a lot (e.g. shadow or selective beam) to be worth £800 on top of standard 'Light & Sight'?

My Fabias basic leds are weak. Worst lights in any car I've owned. Karoq´s basic LED lights (ref 20) are much much better.

Is it too expensive to make good headlights? There is no any specs of Fabia´s FULL-LED headlights. Mystery...

Fabia´s signal lights style with orange bulbs also from year 1999.

Thanks, yes, I agree, I have watched a few videos on YouTube and there is hardly any information on the technical specs of these mysterious Full-LED.

It makes the buying decision very difficult, but it sounds like I must avoid the basic LED.
