Water under floor carpet. Found unplugged holes underneath.

Featured Replies

First car so I don't know if it's normal these holes to be unplugged but I found wet spots under my rubber mats.
First I thought the water is leaking from doors, roof etc. but I was inside the car with doors closed and friend of mine was pouring water over the car with a hose, a powerfull one and no leak.
So I removed the carpet to see what's going on underneath and found this holes. You can see the grass through them... they are unplugged, I don't know if this is normal because it's my first car.
I've asked my friend to check his car but he refused to "salvage" his car. There is some rubber ring leftover so my wild guess is... maybe it was rubber plug?
Do they sell rubber plugs for these holes, or I should leave them open?
