Intelligent & Trained parking in '21 Enyaq?

Featured Replies

I'm getting a new-ish Enyaq delivered on Tuesday, originally registered Jan 2022. Among other things, it's got the optional parking package plus pack.

In the current brochure it says that pack includes intelligent park assist & trained parking. Looking at the 2021 brochure these aren't mentioned.

Does anyone know if I'm likely to get those?

Not a problem if they aren't there, just wondering really.

Hi Darcy

I have the loft which is the basic and it has the park assistant on it so I guess it should be on yours

Be prepared to brake! Presumably that means there's a risk it'll hit something, think I'd rather take full control from the get go.

It is classed as an assist, hence the warning.

However I am banned from using it when the wife is in the car as it freaks her out when the car steers itself into a parking space.

I watched a video on youtube last week, think it was in a mercedes using a similar system which resulted in a collision with the car in the next bay. I wonder if the owner blamed the car on the insurance claim 🤔

Hi, my  (082022) iV 80 has the Trained parking Feature, noticable by the side ultrasonic sensors

The system stores a maximum of 5 gps positions. Once you arrive in a range of 70 mtrs of the coordinates, you are suggested to use the autopark mode by pressing the brake and press Start button. The thing is..i park backwards to wallbox but the car tries tot get there in both directions...and gets lost, and the parksession is stopped. I'll do better..

Thanks for the replies everyone.

I can 100% confirm that my car does not have trained parking.

But, like I said before, I was just curious. With all the advances that it does have over my old 2014 Rapid it's still light years ahead.
