Faulty Temp Reading - Felicia 1997

Featured Replies

Here is the story. I have to to do considerable maintenance in my 1997 Felicia combi "head gasket changed". It was done nicely BUT the temperature reading keep-reaching 105C for some reason. I changed the thermostat and also the temperature sensor (twotimes)- still have the same high Temp reading although the coolant does not boil at all. Does any one have an answer what went wrong?

it might be a broken wire on the coolant sensor circuit, or i could be the voltage regulator in the instrument panel playing up
