Mk3 infotainment upgrade

Featured Replies

Dear colleagues,

I am asking you to help me with information related to the connection of a Bolero Display Panel on the Skoda Octavia 3.
My car came from the factory with a system from Continental (picture) and I want to replace it with a more modern system from Bolero that I bought from secondary market (it was on another Skoda Octavia 3).
When I removed the original system, I noticed that the connection plug does not match from the old one to the new one, and I probably need some kind of adapter.
Here comes my request to tell me what kind of adapter I would need to buy or what option I would have to put the new system on the car.
I am attaching some pictures of the old system (front, back) and the new one (front, back) so you can understand better.

Thank you in advance.

Youll be moving from an all in one system to a mib2 system.

For this youll need a fakra hsd cable, a mib extension cable as well as a new glovebox.

I hope youre also aware its far from plug and play - component protection needs removing, swap codes, correct datasets, correct adaptations
