Faults on vRS

Featured Replies

Skoda Assist chap came today to look at my coolant leak - took off the undertray and announced that the car had a leak from the radiator (nearside bottom) - not wonderful but no huge problem.

He also told me that the turbo's air intake was leaking oil  This is surely an area where air pressure should prevent anything travelling the wrong way

Coupling this with new CV joints at 18k and various other niggles I am left wondering have I bought a duffer?

Whilst all this stuff is warranty work the car will be out of warranty due to mileage at under 3 years old and I don't want to keep it if it is going to give me issues after the warranty expires. Been offered 10500 against a new one which I am pretty happy with - what does everyone think, should I swap for a spanker or keep this one?

If you're expecting problems, then best to get one with some warranty on it :D

Chris

The pipes allways leak a bit of oil due to the crankcase breather system.
