2015 Octy 85k

Engine Warning Light came on

VCDS diagnoses Glow Plug on Cylinder 3. So far so good.

Reading suggests these can be tough to get out so I'd sooner change just the one.

Which is cylinder 3 - third for the left looking from the front of the car? (or 3rd from the right!)

Is this (Cylinder 3) the 'expensive' glow plug with the sensor?

I've read that it is important to use OEM glow plugs but what is the make of the OEM glow plugs (eg Bosch?)

Yes plug 3 is the sensor plug. I would just buy a genuine plug from Skoda or somewhere like Darkside.
