Airbag & Heated Seats

Featured Replies

Hi guys, great to see a excellent forum for Skoda. I took the liberty of removing my two front seats in order to fit some seat covers. I had to disconnect 3 switches under the driver seat & 2 under the passenger seat.

When refitting the seats, I reconnected all switches correctly. However I now have a airbag warning on dash for front airbag & none of seat heat any more.

I'm wondering if the ECU has to be reset to cure or is it just bad connection.

Would appreciate any inputs. Thks john

You should have disconnected the battery before disconnecting the seat electrics.

You will need a diagnostic tool to reset things.
