Fabia 1.6tdi ECU issue

Hello folks, after parking up yesterday I went to restart the car which had been absolutely fine all morning all of sudden took numerous attempts to crank over. Was driving fine until I parked at my daughter's house and tried to start again. Dash showed flashing glow plug light. Recovery called where mechanic found chaffing on ecu harness. Have provide report below. Has anyone heard of similar? 

 

Engine control - 7C3 / Diesel EDC Simos PCR 2 Status :P064200 - Sensor reference voltage A. Error Message : Signal too low. Sporadic fault. Status :P034100 - Camshaft position sensor 1. Error Message : Signal improbable. Sporadic fault. Status :P040800 - EGR position sensor. Error Message : Signal too high. Static fault. Status :P023600 - Boost pressure sensor. Error Message : Signal improbable. Static fault.Various signal faults and not starting, found wiring harness chaffing on air box bracket, moved harness and vehicle started, ran rough like egr fault, may all be down to wiring. Temporary insulated wiring harness and followed to garage. Hire

Saw a thread very recently on the same thing on here, sorry can't remember where, try the 'Search' and options top right of this page.  Anything that upsets the computers and their programs and they will generally upset the car and you in expected and unexpected ways.  Or in this case you could consider it a general electrical fault (from poorer design and build if you want).

 

Others will not doubt be along to offer more help and solutions.

 

The wiring loom has been overexposed to value engineering, just repair it.

Auto spark has said there was a wiring fault between ECU and Mass Air Flow Sensor.
