Is possible convert Regular Skoda Octávia Combi mk2 to Scout?

Featured Replies

Hello all

i need the help if possible. I have my Skoda Octávia Mk2 1.9Tdi 2007 that is in my hands since 2008 and take my family everywhere in safe and without problems.

During the year of 2022 i start to resolve some ageing issues and I have 2 things that I want to do:

1. Install custom made seat covers(i will show when applied)

2. Retouch paint because the daily touches.

now with point 2, I am thinking to start a Overland project and unwound like if possible to install a new suspension and install Scout body kit (bumpers +side protections)

anyone knows if this is possible and if exist any body kits in the market?

Thanks

Joao

@joaomac7Is it not enough to add a proper sump guard, heavy duty suspension and robust tyres and spares and leave off any additional plastic stuff.

Hi ive just fitted taller springs and shocks to my 2010 mkii, i wrote it up on mkiii thread..

I suspect that the tunnel may be taller/deeper in the scout to hold the prop shaft

Okay so have a look at darkside developments, they did a whole overland series with a yeti snd now they sell parts , you can buy steel skid plates , lift kits and strut extenders  , considering doing it on my mk2 4X4 , that's how i found this thread. The lift kit is a bit more expensive than off ebay but it's nade from machined metal and its all tested . Ill post links below 👇
