Headlight switch unit

Featured Replies

Hello,

If I was to change the headlight switch unit with a new one, would I need to get it programmed?

When I put the lights on the front fog lights keep flicking. Definitely an issue with the unit because if I put a pin inbetwen the turning part of the switch and the body it stops.

Thanks for any help

Hi there.

No, no need for reprogramming. It's a straight fit in the new part job. Just keep in mind that you need a switch with the wide connector.

Ok thanks, bugger, not sure what is wrong with the new unit then. I swapped them out but now the front fog light is not coming on. The rear fog light works. Wonder if there is an issue with the new unit then as it's identical.

Was the part numbers the same on both new and old?

Might also be an idea to check fuse didn't blow, and if not, see if you can put in the old and try putting in the pin you tested and see if it's working then.
