Skoda Connect Not Connecting

Have the Skoda Connect app, all set up and working for first year. Re subscribed for £36 and now it won’t connect. When I try to unlock it says something along the lines of “Having trouble sending command to car”. It worked fine when I last used it a few months ago.

Which service(s) did you resubscribe to? When I did mine back in November I did two services : Infotainment Online (£36) and Care Connect - Remote Access (£30).

 

AIUI, it is the latter that is needed for the remote lock/unlock function.

Care connect is the service you require for the lock/ unlock function.

It was the remote access one, weird thing is, it’s working now. But I’ve used and moved the car since last time I tried, it’s still on the driveway in roughly the same position. Are there intermittent issues with this?

I’ve had the occasional glitch but not recently. Could be that the car took a while to pick up the updated subscription; starting it and moving it maybe gave enough time &/or the ‘power cycle’ it needed.

Other than that, dunno…
