You need your build codes.

There's a seller on ebay that can supply them for about 3 Euros.

search "vin decoder skoda" on ebay

Your Skoda might have around 180 build codes.

A build code is a 3 digit code made up of numbers and letters, so look something like 1JA, 1LA, etc.

When you have your build codes, you can input them into a "VW codes decoder" which will let you know what each one if all about.

"VW codes decoder"

As you can see below, the two example codes 1JA and 1LA have been decoded.

Example of decoding

1JA = Shock absorbers, rear
1LA = Disc brakes, front

Lazy barstewards.

Anyhow, for 7 Euro you can get your build codes from erWin Skoda and also wiring diagrams/repair manuals/and lookup any TPI documents that might have recalls.  Then you'll have torque values for bolts and any repairs needed you'll have instructions to hand.

I would rather pay 7 Euro for all of that, than 3 for a build code sheet personally.

Do you mean the basic SEL spec?

What do you want to know?

I have an 04/2017 launch brochure plus a little 10/2016 pre-launch booklet.

Have the second one as pdf if you’d like a copy sent, but these booklets don’t contain the full build spec lists that have been available online for several years now.

Had a go with erWin to get the build codes. Took me about 10 minutes to figure out how to actually view them. Highlighted in red, which menu option it is (after entering VIN).
There's 100's of build codes, handy to be able to download them all as a pdf. The optional extras I added seemed to appear bunched up with no family field.

@Theo5 Hopefully you got your workshop manuals and wiring diagrams whilst there?

Got the maintenance manual. Won't be doing any myself, but interesting none the less.
