About to go back to an Octavia estate, 69 plate 1.6 and want to replace the existing lamps with LED variants. Having looked through the forums, there are numerous posts on this subject. However, I'm after recommendations for replacements that do not throw up lighting errors. It's been a while since I did this so any upto date info much appreciated.

Well, fitted a couple of led replacements I had from an earlier car in the reversing lights, very bright, no warnings. However, now, with the engine running and any door open, I get a boot open indication in maxidot but no alarms. Feel I need to get vcds again!! Anyone else had the same or similar indications.?

It might be best to list all the bulbs you have swapped to LED's.

I have fitted LED reverse, number plate and all the interiors without trouble, I did code LED for number plate iirc.

The only lamps I've changed are the reversing ones. I've some more coming from another source and some indicator ones. Odd that I have no warnings about defective lamps, just the maxidot indication.

To be fair, you are on newer car than mine, maybe your new bulbs will help.  I got some AliExpress reverse LED's that worked for me.

That's where my latest ones are coming from. Will fit and see what happens.
