Hi all,

 

I bought a 2009 Skoda Octavia 1.9tdi Elegance this morning.

 

The car has done 131,000m, and runs well. My old man had a look at it yesterday and thought the engine was tapping. 

 

So when we visited it today we where focused on that. I belive its OK and it seemed to settle down a bit once it got up to temperature. No knocks or smoke when i out my foot down and its stops well. 

 

However im kicking my self now as i didnt check the body over fully. When i got home i noticed its had a respray on the rear passenger side sill and the bottom quater of the passenger side door. Also the sill has a a few rust spots coming through. 

 

Other than that its a good car loveing the boot size as well.
