Question for anyone that knows please!

If I want to retrofit an apple carplay compatible oem Fabia 3 head unit into a Fabia 3 that just missed out on getting it, is that something that is possible?

the car is SEL spec so has the Multifunction wheel.

if so, is that possible to do myself, using a secondhand head unit or would Skoda have to set it up on the component protection. 

If I wanted Skoda to replace the head unit, is it something they would even entertain?

 

If so, what head unit would I need to buy or ask for?

@Gman1978 easy job - you have simplified Bolero model number 5Q0035820. The easiest way is to have it replaced with full version of Bolero, model number 5Q0035842x or 565035842, or, if you want OEM navigation as well, with Amundsen 5Q0035874x or 565035874 (x - any letter A, B or C). I can deliver any of mentioned above units in P&P version, if you are interested pls contact me on PM.
