Hi!

Got myself a Skoda yesterday! 🥳

New to the brand as a driver, but convinced I've made a good choice.

Bought a 2017 facelift Rapid Spaceback 1.0 tsi 95hp DSG.

Next week it'll be "upgraded" to 130hp and the DSG will be finetuned.

Hope to find some nice tips&tricks on this forum.

Sounds like you are going for more horses (HP) the more the merrier.

Now I'm curious.

How will the new setting be different to the old?

I had my DSG tweaked with my remap, and TBH, I haven't noticed any difference in it's operation.

That said, it works beautifully, so I'm not complaining.

They'll adjust the shifting moments to other RPM's so that you're not driving 60 km/h in the 7th gear for example.
The gears are now set much to "green" (shifting up as fast as possible).

Hi everyone, I have a Skoda Fabia with a 1.2 AZQ engine. I have a warm running issue - the car misfires/stutters when fully warm. The intake air temperature (IAT) reads around 80°C when the problem occurs. When I unplug the EGR connector the car runs perfectly and IAT drops to around 30°C. Parts already replaced: EGR valve (new) + adaptation done MAP sensor (new) Coolant temperature sensor (new) PCV valve (new) EGR pipe is clean, no carbon buildup Breather hose between EGR and air filter ho

Hi, I'm looking at a 72k mile Skoda Superb 65 plate, hopefully lots of motorway miles. It looks good, my main concerns being the lack of dsg oil change & potential for carbon build up due to direct injection. I currently have a mk6 Golf GTI (EA888 Gen 1) which didn't support dual injection & bit me when the carbon build up & clogged injectors caused a flooded cylinder. I've tried to research this but I'm getting conflicting information around this engine & I wasn't sure if s

I have a 2024 Octavia Vrs diesel. Last year I was in France approaching one of the free ferries over the river Seine, downstream of Rouen. I took a wrong turn and had to reverse, then go slowly forward to get to the correct lane. At only about 2 or 3 mph the car came to a sudden violent stop accompanied by a bang. 2014 SE. Had a low battery which failed to start the car. New battery. Car will start but dies after 3 seconds. Full tank of petrol. Dash engine light goes off but EPC remains on. Getting along quite well with my new SE Edition 1.0 TSI 116 PS DSG after the first week. Finding my way around most things but have one wee niggle. Does anyone have knowledge of how to set up a phone (android) with this 8" display system? I can call up contacts and make calls using the phone section of Android Auto but the dedicated phone section from the menu just comes up as a load of blank 'favourites' boxes. It won't allow me to import contacts or add anything to these favourites or add any
