PID resets source from Bluetooth to AUX on startup

Featured Replies

Hi all!

I've got a tricky one here.

I have  a GARMIN bradnded PID in my Citigo. PID has latest available firmware installed, works fine, except for one annoying thing:

It is slow(ish) to connect to a paired phone (tested with several phones, doesn't seem to matter the phone model)  which results in following workflow for me:

Get into the car, turn it on - PID tries to connect, but before the connection is established it probably decides that it's been long enough and resets the media source to AUX.

So if I want to keep playing music I was playing before turning the car off - I have to

1. go to Media

2. Media player

3. Hit source selection

4. pick my phone (that is already connected by then)

Does not sound like much of a trouble but when this happens every single time it makes me just avoid using music streaming altogether.

Is there any way to set the PID to wait longer before resetting the media source?

Also does it work the same way for you?
