Tucking in wing mirrors for tight spaces?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a tight twisty path to get to the front of our house.

The wing mirrors are motorised, and turn in, when you lock the car.

Is there a way to turn in the mirrors temporarily, while manoeuvering?

Thinking about this, it would help in other instances, not just with trying to get to the front of my house! :-).

Hope you can help.

Martin.

You don't mention your car model. If your mirrors are electically controlled your rotary control switch should

have a position at around 7 o'clock to fold in your mirrors.

*Sorry you do say they are motorised

Hi G,

I tried that trick this morning, and it works a treat. Thank you!

By the way, the control is on the door, where you adjust how to mirrors are pointing. The controls are not where you would choose, full beam et cetera, took me a second or 2 to work out! 🙂

Hope you have a fab weekend!

Best wishes.

Martin

I find a good read is the owners manual found out loads I didn't know
